It seems that this time of year a lot of people want to lose weight and one of the things I want to tell you is that diet pills do not work and why i believe diet pills are a scam.
And one of the biggest offenders that I know that I’ve seen around is this Garcinia Cambogia stuff. This has to be one of the most popular scams out there right now and let me give you an example of how they scam you. If you watch this video to the end, I’ll give you a quick tip of what actually does work and good news is it’s not going to cost you anything.
So a lot of people create websites like this where they use Dr. Oz’s images without his permission as if he’s endorsing this product. Now the funny thing is these bottles right here cost about $3 to make. We can manufacture them for $3 and if you don’t believe me, you can go ahead and try and source it yourself you will see that they cost about $3.
So here’s what they do, they say start your free trial. When you click on that start your free trial, it takes you to a page where you put in all your information. Now if you look at the fine print of this, I’m going to go ahead and pause the screen for a second and I’m going to put my information in just so I can get to the next page to show you the rest of the scam.
OK then it takes you to a page like this, says you’re almost done just pay the shipping and handling. Gosh, aren’t they awesome. But here’s what you don’t see, if you look at the fine print, here’s what the fine print says, it says just pay for $4.95 for shipping and handling.
Now the reason they’re charging $4.95 for shipping and handling is because the bottle only cost them $3. So you’re paying for the cost of the product and it says to fully evaluate Garcinia health for 14 days, if you don’t like it, if you like it simply keep the product.
Once your trial has ended 15 days from today, you’ll be billed $92.53 for the product. Then on day 30 and every 30 days thereafter you will continue in the monthly program for $92.53. So what they end up doing is they sell you $3 bottle of pills for $92.53.
Now the reason why diet pills don’t work is because weight loss or weight management is really a function of calories and these pills have nothing to do with calories. Now here’s one quick thing that you can do every single day to turn yourself into a calorie burning machine.
So there’s only two ways to manage your weight; one is you manage the intake of the calorie that comes in and the other is manage the burn rate at which you burn calories. Now the easiest, fastest way that I found to burn calories is this and I actually learned this at a high end seminar.
See the great thing is, I had the blessing and the curse of making a whole lot of money and I basically went on a steak and lobster diet. And on a steak and lobster diet, I ended up gaining a crap load of weight. Now just because you can eat steak and lobster every night doesn’t mean you should eat steak and lobster every night.
So my before and after I looked like this — before I look like this, after I look like this. I lost about 30 pounds and I lost it in about 60 days and this is one of the things that helped me do it and I learned this at a high end, $25,000 program that I was in.
So anyway, kettle bell dead lifts. If you do five minutes of kettle bell dead lifts, now kettle bell if you Google it is really simple. It’s basically a piece of weight. It’s a ball with a handle on it and basically if you do kettle bell dead lifts and you do it for five minutes every morning what that will do is it will turn you into a calorie burning machine.
See the thing is, one of the biggest myths is if you get in a cardio machine, for those of you that hate getting on a treadmill like I do, and I can’t stand it. Getting on a treadmill doesn’t work because you’re burning calories while you’re on the treadmill but when you’re off the treadmill, you stop burning calories.
So if you go to the gym one of the things you’ll notice is all the fat people are doing cardio exercises in general OK I am making a generalization and if you look at the weight training area, those people are all very fit. So here’s something that you can do for five minutes that will help you turn into a calorie burning machine, do five minutes of kettle bell dead lifts every morning.
Now what happens is you basically with that particular lift, you’re working all of your biggest muscles. The biggest muscles in your body are your thighs, your quads, your butt, your back; all those are your biggest muscles in your body and that process of dead lifting that weight will engage those muscles and train those muscles into calorie burning furnaces.
So if you only did this one thing and you did it every single day and you made it a habit, you’ll end up over the course of the year losing a lot of weight. And the great news is it doesn’t cost you anything. If you don’t have a kettle bell, use a phonebook, you can use anything; go find a rock, a heavy rock. Anything that weighs a decent amount will work just fine.
